The building of Saint-Eustache started in 1532 and ended in 1637. It is a masterpiece of late Gothic. architecture. A neoclassical facade was added on the western side in the mid-18th century. The interior is in Gothic, Renaissance and classical styles.

The history of this organ is not well-documented. It seems that it was built in 1842 by John ABBEY. Reconstructions were done by MERKLIN (years 1870, probably during his works on the great organ in 1879), ROCHESSON (1930), ROETHINGER (1963), DUNAND (1978) and CICCHERO. This organ needs a comprehensive retoration. Source
